How the fee works
One page, no fine print. This is the deal you're agreeing to when you send me a bill, along with my terms.
1. The audit is free
You send me a bill, I check it against the market for your postcode. If I can't find you anything better, that's the end of it. You pay nothing and I'll tell you straight that you're already on a good deal.
2. You only pay if I find you a saving: $99 for the year
One price. Paid before I send the details, through the secure link in your free report card. For that you get:
- The new deal, the exact steps to switch, and any sign-up voucher or credit I've found. The voucher's yours to keep.
- Twelve months of me watching every bill in the house: electricity, gas, internet and mobile.
- A text before a promo ends or a price rises, and the next deal found, at no extra charge.
If the report says you're already on a good deal, there's nothing to pay.
2a. If it doesn't work out
If the deal I found isn't available to you after all (they won't take you on, the plan's gone, your address isn't covered), you get the full fee back. No arguments.
2b. Renewing
The year renews automatically on the card you paid with, so your bills stay watched. You'll get an email before it renews, with the date and the price. Don't want another year? Cancel with the "Manage subscription" link in that email. It takes one click and you don't need to contact me. If I ever change the price, I'll tell you at least 30 days before.
3. How the saving is worked out
Your current plan versus the new plan, at the same usage, over 12 months. I use the bill you sent me as the baseline and show you the numbers before you decide. Promo pricing is counted only for the months it actually applies. Sign-up vouchers are a bonus on top, not part of the sum.

5. Paying
Your free report card comes with a secure payment link. Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, handled by Stripe, so I never see your card number. Once it's paid, the full details come through. Prices are in Australian dollars.
Rather not use a card? Ask and you can pay by PayID instead. PayID payments don't renew automatically: I'll message you before your year is up, and you decide whether to keep going.
Before you switch, tell me. I'll make sure it happens on the right day and every discount is applied, so you get the full saving.
6. No commissions, ever
I don't get paid by any retailer, so the only thing that affects what I recommend is what's cheapest for you. The fee is the only money I make.
7. Your details
Your bill is used for your audit and nothing else, then deleted once you're sorted. Full details on the privacy page.
